I thought it would be fun to offer some awards
that you can win for your web site, so here they are...ta-daa!
There are a few rules to adhere to first though:
Awards will NOT be given to any site which contains any of the following: pornography, hate against any person, religion or race, illegal activities of any kind or any sites which are just plain offensive or in bad taste. If your site falls into these catagories, don't even apply.
Personal or commercial sites are welcome to apply, providing I do not need to subscribe or pay to see your site.
Your site must be easy to navigate, with no (or at least very few) broken or dead links, nothing I need to download to be able to view it, and must load
in a reasonably fast amount of time.
Your site must have at least one page of actual content, not just links or banners.
Your site should have few if any typos.
All of your images should load properly, and whenever possible, photographers credits should be given.
Instructions:
1) Choose the award you would like to win.
2) Click the ENTER link and fill out the form correctly.
3) I will review your site at my earliest convenience & email your award to you if you win.
4) When you receive your award, you must link it back to my site. You must also save it to your own server & not link to it from this page.
As I surf the web, I may occasionally decide to give out a spontaneous award randomly, without someone applying for it.
Those individuals may display the award on their site if they wish, or not. Personally, I think it's cool to win an award without having to ask for it! You may, however, still apply for
The Spontaneous Award ... if you haven't
been given one spontaneously! :-)
This page is best viewed if you have the true type font called
*Black Chancery* installed on your computer. (It's a great gothic type of font & looks very cool!) If you would like the font, which to my best knowledge is freeware, you may download the zip file for it here. Once you have saved it to your hard drive, unzip the file using WinZip,
or my personal (and free!) favorite, Alladin Expander,
and then save the resulting .ttf file to your *Windows*>>>*Fonts* directory. Download Black Chancery Font (and many more) for Windows here.
